A Firm Without Borders
The prestige of the Alberdi firm extended well beyond the Iberian Peninsula. His instruments reached the Philippines—Manaoag—and found an important sphere of expansion in the Americas. His organs were installed in Colombia—in Bogotá, Cali, Manizales, and the Chocó region—as well as in Venezuela (Caracas), Panama, and Costa Rica. In the latter, the construction of the great organ for the National Theatre of San José stands out as one of his most significant civil commissions outside of Europe.
