Public Recognition: Press and Awards
The consolidation of the Lope Alberdi firm was not forged in the workshops alone. The press became its primary advocate. As his instruments filled churches and theaters, reviewers praised a body of work that «greatly honored Spanish industry,» placing his creations among the «best being built,» and highlighting the richness of their tone colors and their boldness in resolving complex mechanical systems.
This media recognition was validated at industrial competitions: the firm was awarded the Grand Prize with a Gold Medal at the Galician Regional Exhibition in Santiago de Compostela (1909), as well as the same distinction at the Milan International Exhibition (1912).

La consolidation de la maison Lope Alberdi ne s’est pas uniquement construite dans les ateliers. La presse devint son principal relais. À mesure que ses instruments remplissaient églises et théâtres, les chroniqueurs saluaient un travail qui honorait « grandement l’industrie espagnole » et plaçaient ses créations parmi les « meilleures qui soient construites », soulignant la richesse de leurs timbres et leur audace dans la résolution de systèmes mécaniques complexes.
Cette reconnaissance médiatique fut confirmée lors de concours industriels : l’entreprise obtint le Grand Prix avec Médaille d’or à l’Exposition régionale galicienne de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle (1909), ainsi que la même distinction à l’Exposition internationale de Milan (1912).
