Tradition and Innovation
As an organ builder, Lope Alberdi integrated into his work the fundamental contributions of Romantic-Symphonic organ building in Spain, the legacy of his master, Aquilino Amezua. At the same time, his work is characterized by an experimental approach aimed at incorporating various technical solutions in the realm of mechanics and action systems.
In this process, Alberdi tested and combined elements from the great European traditions, paying particular attention to the French and German schools.
